Role Summary:
Administrative and Executive Support. Position requires understanding of concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.
Essential Responsibilities:
In addition, you will:
Provide administrative support to the business JOLP (Jr. Military Officer Program) and Sr Executive supply chain leaders and RCOE executive Leader for GE Transportation
Produce correspondence; presentations, meeting agendas, emails and any external mailings
Handle highly confidential and sensitive information
Manage scheduling and coordination of calendars, meetings and conferences for the Chief Financial Officer, Global Communications Leader and Business Development Leader for GE Transportation
Coordinate domestic and global travel arrangements
Process monthly corporate card and cash expenses
Support with general office administration, working closely with other administrators
Support teams embed ways of using technology into their everyday working practice
Support key projects / initiative roll-outs within GE Transportation
Qualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma / GED
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an administrative capacity in a corporate environment at a senior level
Minimum of 2 years of experience at an advanced level using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint applications as well as use of the internet and web applications
Ability to travel as required

Desired Characteristics:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills, with ability and confidence to effectively interface with senior management and high profile clients
Familiarity and working knowledge of relational databases and knowledge of the GE Internet, Support Central and other relevant applications desirable (GE Employees only)
Extremely well organized, with attention to detail, yet able to multi-task in an environment of changing priorities
Intellectually sharp, able to grasp concepts and think / learn quickly
Ability to maintain a professional approach within tasks, exercise good judgment, be a creative problem-solver and possess personal drive and commitment to implement innovative solutions
Ability to accept constructive criticism and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.
This includes continuing to persevere and remaining calm in challenging or frustrating circumstances
Self-starter with ability to work on own initiatives and work well in a team environment
An ability / willingness to establish professional and personal networks with key mining executive administrative and corporate staff
Strong demonstrated writing skills, articulating complex ideas in an easy to understand manner
Able to deal with, and adapt to, complexities related to varying agendas, priorities, personalities
Demonstrated project management skills to plan and deliver on established tactical and strategic goals
