CHICAGO – State Rep. Marcus C. Evans, Jr., D-Chicago, recently participated in the Thornton Township Annual Warming Up the Holidays event, serving meals to 1,500 residents at South Suburban College. Evans also donated 15 turkeys for families to enjoy for the Thanksgiving holiday.
“I am glad to start the holiday season here with the residents of Thornton Township, and share good food and conversation with the attendees,” Evans said. “This is a time to give thanks and enjoy the company of our family, friends and neighbors.”
